Obviously when you work through my cv, which is quite a read, you would have noticed that I’m not that young.
To that, I would like to say in my defence, that I am a bit of a workaholic as I like to work (with years left in me).
Very reliable, punctual & honest.
I have a lot of life experience(obviously) with a very good sense of humour.
I enjoy meeting & talking to different people, I believe that you learn a lot from them and it is always good to show an interest (it breaks down any barriers).
I have a clean driving licence & have driven HGV (rigid vehicles & coaches) but I have let my CPD qualification lapse.
I’m very practical with DIY skills & like to solve problems.
During my working life I have had experience with welding, hydraulics, paint spraying & some lathe work.
I served a full apprenticeship (City & Guilds), in light goods vehicle mechanics (now known as vehicle technicians) & have thoroughly enjoyed doing this.
I like to teach & guide youngsters, that are willing to listen & learn.
I ideally would like to come off of the tools now & would be seeking something, still with a practical aspect, with or without responsibilities.
I’m capable of working by myself or within a team & I am very easy to get along with.
I am a family man & like to spend time with my family.
I enjoy watching most sports, history programs & good films.
Thank you for reading this & I hope you’re not too bored.

I have been in the automotive industry from an apprentice(fully qualified LGV Technician City & Guilds) through to workshop control, finally ending up in management.
I had several months out of the motor trade, working in the manufacturing industry, working for my brother in law.
His company manufactured fairground rides.
I would meet his potential customers, make the sale, then deal with all the logistics.
I love working, passing on the skills I have learnt and developed over the years. I particularly enjoy Managing & coaching a team, guiding them to develop and grow themselves within the companies strategy.
I have always been honest with customers & believe this is the best way for retaining customers.
I am totally reliable, very punctual & believe I would be an asset.
Thank you for taking the time to read this.
